Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic could help the club in negotiations with Ivan Perisic once he signs his new contract, according to a report in the Italian print media today.
As has been reported today by Tuttosport, Marcelo Brozovic is expected to sign his new contract with the Nerazzurri imminently and will then be set to stay at the club for the next four seasons.
His compatriot Ivan Perisic is in a similar situation in that he is out of contract at the end of the current season. He is not close to signing a new deal though as he would likely need to accept the same or lower than his current wage, given he is 33-years-old.
Inter president Steven Zhang is remaining in Milan until after the Champions League tie with Liverpool so that he can address matters such as this but the club hopes Marcelo Brozovic can convince his fellow Croatian to renew with Inter.
