Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has turned down approaches from Antonio Conte at Tottenham Hotspur as well as Newcastle Unites, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, the Croatian midfielder is extremely close to signing his new contract with Inter and the announcement is expected in the coming weeks.

He has shown how much he wants to stay at Inter by turning down approaches from former Inter boss Antonio Conte who is now at Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League and the riches of Newcastle United.

Despite being in a relegation battle in England, Newcastle United can afford to pay Marcelo Brozovic much more than almost any other team due to their new Saudi Arabian owners.

They made that clear to the player but he was not interested as he wants to continue at Inter and wants to continue living in Milan.
