Felipe Caicedo could miss this evening’s derby clash with AC Milan, but also the Coppa Italia match against Roma during the week as he deals with muscular fatigue.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Ecuadorian is a doubt to face not only the Rossoneri but also the Giallorossi.
Caicedo has shown some muscle problems in training, and while they are not anything serious the team will not risk him unless he proves to have made a full recovery.
The decision will be made as to whether to include the 33-year-old on the bench for this evening’s derby clash after Simone Inzaghi and the staff watch him during the morning training session ahead of this evening’s match.
However, it is possible that the striker could be out against Roma in the Coppa Italia as well as today, should the problem prove to be a lingering one.
