Newly-signed Inter striker Felipe Caicedo could miss out on this evening’s derby clash with AC Milan through injury.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that while the Ecuadorian is working hard to recover to make the bench, he could be left out through muscular fatigue.

Caicedo joined on loan from Genoa during the final week of the January transfer window, and will hope that he can make a quick impact with his new club.

However, the 33-year-old may have to wait to make an appearance in a Nerazzurri shirt, as he has been dealing with some muscular fatigue in training and may not be deemed fit to be included in today’s match day squad.

The decision on whether to include Caicedo in the team to make the bench will likely go down to the last minute, but it is not impossible that he will be left out altogether.
