Inter are annoyed with what they see as inconsistencies in the refereeing of Saturday’s derby clash by Marco Guida, though they will not take any action on the matter.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the club do not see refereeing as an excuse for falling to defeat, but nevertheless feel that many of Guida’s decisions were hard to fathom.

The most noteworthy refereeing incident of the derby came in the form of the decision by Guida not to whistle for a foul for Olivier Giroud’s challenge on Alexis Sanchez in the buildup to the Rossoneri’s equalizer.

However, according to the Corriere, there is a feeling at Inter that this was not the only time that the official made decisions that seemed to benefit their city rivals in the match.

The club have no intention of making a significant issue out of Guida’s refereeing of the match, however, and won’t hide behind it to explain away the loss.
