Ivan Perisic is set to leave Inter in the summer at the end of his contract unless they raise their offer on an extension.
This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that the 33-year-old isn’t likely to agree a new deal unless the club offer significantly more in wages than they currently are on an extension.
Perisic currently earns a net of €5 million per season at Inter, and he is asking for a salary increase to €6 million net in order to stay on, while the club are only prepared to offer €4 million net per season.
The Croat’s importance at the club has been underlined with the quality of his performances this season, and he still hopes for a new deal which reflects his status at the club.
The Nerazzurri are still keen to extend the 33-year-old’s deal, but it remains to be seen if they will get any closer to the amount he is asking with a contract offer.
