Inter midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu knows that a 2-1 loss to AC Milan in the derby was a damaging result for he and his teammates, but he’s already focused on bouncing back.
The 27-year-old experienced the heartbreak along with every other Nerazzurri player and fan of seeing a lead evaporate with the Rossoneri’s second-half flourish, and they couldn’t take any points from the clash.
However, Calhanoglu posted defiantly on his Instagram account after the match to emphasize the important of immediately getting back to their best for the challenges ahead.
He captioned the post, “It wasn’t the result that we wanted, but we’re still the league leaders and we will maintain our focus. Great teams come back stronger after a blow and that is exactly what we’ll do. Forza Inter!”
