Arturo Vidal is set to start in place of Hakan Calhanoglu in Inter’s Coppa Italia clash with Roma this evening.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Chilean will come into the Nerazzurri’s starting eleven for this evening’s quarter-final clash, taking Calhanoglu’s place in midfield.
Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will look to make rotations to his squad for this evening’s match as he guides his team through a difficult period in which they face several key matches in a row across all competitions.
The coach looks set to put his trust in Vidal, who is likely to start alongside Marcelo Brozovic and Nicolo Barella in midfield.
Vidal had already started against Empoli in the round-of-sixteen match, although this had been alongside the likes of Matias Vecino and Roberto Gagliardini in the centre of the pitch, but now will be with the two regular starters as his partners.
