Wing-back Matteo Darmian and defender Danilo D’Ambrosio are set to come into the Inter starting eleven in this evening’s Coppa Italia quarter-final clash with Roma.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who include the pair in their predicted starting eleven for the match with some rotations compared to the derby clash with AC Milan over the weekend.
The likes of Dutch duo Stefan de Vrij and Denzel Dumfries are set to drop to the bench, with Skriniar shifting into de Vrij’s central position and D’Ambrosio coming in on the right, while Darmian will be a straight swap for Dumfries.
Meanwhile, the Gazzetta also predicts that Alexis Sanchez will start alongside Lautaro Martinez in attack, with Edin Dzeko dropping to the bench.
The Gazzetta’s complete predicted eleven for the match is as follows:
INTER (3-5-2): Handanovic; D’Ambrosio, Skriniar, Bastoni; Darmian, Barella, Brozovic, Calhanoglu, Perisic; Lautaro, Sanchez.
