Inter have met with the agents of Ivan Perisic and Samir Handanovic about the contract extensions for the two players.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Nerazzurri have held talks with the agents of both players in the hopes that they can agree extensions past the summer.
Perisic in particular has been one of Inter’s outstanding players this season, and the club are keen to renew his contract which currently expires at the end of June.
It remains to be seen if the club will be ready to make an offer which the 33-year-old will accept, but having begun talks with his agent developments can be expected soon one way or the other.
Meanwhile, captain Handanovic also sees his current deal expire at the end of June, and with Andre Onana joining from Ajax during the summer transfer window it remains to be seen whether he will decide to stay on.
The club have sat down with his agent to begin talks on a potential extension for the 37-year-old, however, and as with Perisic the situation can be expected to progress over the coming weeks.
