Legendary former Inter striker Alessandro Altobelli expects a spectacular match between the Nerazzurri and Napoli on Saturday.

Writing in his column in today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Roma, the former striker highlighted how the match between the two Scudetto contenders promises to be a very exciting show for fans.

The Nerazzurri and the Rossoneri are two of the teams in Serie A with the greatest focus on possession and proactive, attacking football.

Both teams will not be likely to compromise their overall games too much for each other, and their clash promises to be a high-tempo affair between two teams completely motivated to fight for the top spot in Serie A.

Altobelli is looking forward to a match that will give the Nerazzurri a chance to tighten their grip at the top, but also give the Partenopei the opportunity to overtake them at the head of the table.

“This will be a key game in terms of the Scudetto race,” he predicted. “Inter have a one-point of advantage over Napoli, but they have a game in hand as well, against Bologna.:

“Everything suggests that Simone Inzaghi’s team will have no problem beating the Emilians,” he went on of their game in hand.

He stated that “Certainly if Napoli were to beat Inter then it would change things a lot.”

“The best defense of the league and the best attack will go head to head,” he emphasized, “I expect a great match. They’re guaranteed to put on a show.”
