New Inter striker Felipe Caicedo could get his first call up to the Nerazzurri squad for the match against Napoli on Saturday, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

As has been reported by Sky Sport Italia, via FCInternews, the Ecuadorian forward trained partially with the group during the week and maybe fit enough to be named on the bench by Simone Inzaghi.

This will please the former Lazio boss as it gives him a fresh option from the substitutes bench if the Nerazzurri needs a goal late in the game, especially given Joaquin Correa is out injured.

Felipe Caicedo joined Inter on loan from Genoa at the end of the transfer window in January as a reaction to the injury that Argentine forward Joaquin Correa suffered.

Simone Inzaghi told the club that he would like one more attacking option during the second half of the very busy campaign.
