New Inter forward Felipe Caicedo trained with the rest of the Inter squad on Thursday as he looks to be fit enough to make the bench against Napoli, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, the Ecuadorian forward has been recovering from muscle fatigue ever since he joined the club at the end of the January transfer window on loan from Genoa.

He trained with the full Inter squad for the majority of Thursday’s session which is a step in the right direction for the former Lazio striker.

Inter and Simone Inzaghi are hoping that he will be fit enough to be named on the bench for the match against Napoli on Saturday evening so that the coach will have more than one attacking option available to him from the subs bench if the Nerazzurri are chasing a goal late in the game.
