Inter want to sign AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie if they can offload three midfielders in the summer, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Repubblica, the Ivorian midfielder is a player that Inter sporting CEO Beppe Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio rate very highly and they wish to sign him on a free transfer.

His deal with the Rossoneri will run out in June 2022 so he is now able to hold talks with other clubs. Inter would need to offload three midfielders currently in the squad which would be Stefano Sensi, Arturo Vidal and Matias Vecino.

By doing that, the Nerazzurri can make space in the wage budget for Franck Kessie who would demand a very high fee for his services.

Arturo Vidal is the highest earner of those players who would need to leave the club to make way for the Ivorian.
