AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie is in contact with Spanish giants Barcelona amid links to Inter and Juventus as well.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Ivorian is a major target for the Blaugranas, though the Nerazzurri and the Bianconeri are also closely tracking him.

Kessie looks increasingly unlikely to extend his contract with the Rossoneri, with the club ready to raise his wages from the net €2.2 million per season he currently earns to €6 million net, but the player still seeking €8 million net.

There is significant interest in the 25-year-old from Inter and Juventus, both of whom could keep him in Serie A, while clubs in the Premier League are also targeting him on a free transfer.

However, right now Barcelona look to be the keenest club in his signature, and they are already in talks with the midfielder and his representatives over a possible summer move.
