Former Inter striker Nicola Ventola feels that this evening’s Serie A clash between the Nerazzurri and Napoli will be decided in a few key moments.
Speaking on Christian Vieri’s Twitch channel, as reported by FCInterNews, the former striker gave the view that the most important thing for each side will be taking their chances when they come.
Inter and Napoli have been two of the outstanding teams in Serie A this season, and neither will see this evening’s match as straightforward by any means.
On paper the clash promises to be closely-fought and one of each team’s most difficult of the campaign, and neither are likely to fully dominate or have a large number of chances.
In Ventola’s view, the key to either side getting the better of the massive head-to-head clash will be turning positive periods and chances into something concrete.
“Luciano Spalletti and Simone Inzaghi both guarantee their teams quality,” he said. “Napoli have a very specific playing identity, and so do Inter.”
He predicted that “The match could end in any of the three results, there will be positive periods of play for both teams, whoever exploits theirs best will win the game.”
