Inter wing-back Denzel Dumfries was one of his team’s most impressive performers in yesterday evening’s 1-1 draw with Napoli in Serie A.

The Dutchman earned praise from Italian media, with L’Interista noting that he received positive scores across the board for his display in the player ratings for the match across Italian media.

Dumfries didn’t get off to a flying start to life at the Nerazzurri, but in recent weeks he has looked more and more comfortable in an Inter shirt, and the Gazzetta dello Sport considered his most recent display to be “Maicon-esque.”

The 25-year-old was also named as the Nerazzurri’s best player on the pitch by several outlets for his composed display and the way he covered both the defensive and offensive side of the game on his side of the pitch.

L’Interista only awarded Dumfries a 5.5/10 scores for his performance, but all of the Corriere della Sera, the Gazzetta dello Sport, TuttoMercatoWeb, and Tuttosport gave him 6.5/10, and the Corriere dello Sport went to 7/10.
