Denzem Dumfries was the Inter player who have the best account of himself across ninety minutes in yesterday evening’s 1-1 Serie A draw with Napoli according to Italian media.

The 25-year-old received a 7/10 grade for his accomplished display on both sides of the ball in the player ratings for the match published in today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Dumfries has been in excellent form on the right ever since coming in to the team as a regular starter following an injury to Matteo Darmian in December.

The Dutchman has shown his great pace and energy to get up and down his flank, and has looked increasingly confident and aware, a trend which continued against the Partenopei.

Dumfries mostly did well to assist Milan Skriniar in defense against Napoli’s formidable left side of Lorenzo Insigne and Mario Rui, while his pace and timing were also a key outlet going forward throughout the match.
