Wing-back Denzel Dumfries has been named as the standout player for Inter in their 1-1 draw away to Napoli in Serie A yesterday evening.

The Dutchman received a score of 6.5/10 for his performance in the player ratings for the match published in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who named him as man of the match.

Dumfries put in another largely accomplished display on the right side, impacting the game in both defense and attack to continue his run of form since the end of 2021.

The Gazzetta felt that he had impressed the most among his teammates over ninety minutes, while they also gave the same scores to Samir Handanovic, Federico Dimarco, and Edin Dzeko for their displays.

Meanwhile, Stefan de Vrij and Hakan Calhanoglu received only 5/10 scores for their displays, which underwhelmed particularly in the first half, while assistant coach Massimiliano Farris was graded at 6/10 for the team’s comeback to take a point.
