More than thirty broadcasters will be present at the San Siro for this evening’s Champions League clash between Inter and Liverpool, a record for a Nerazzurri match in the stadium.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the match will have around 38,000 spectators in attendance in addition to the record-breaking broadcasting reflecting its importance.
Apart from celebrities set to be present, Nerazzurri President Steven Zhang will be at the match, as will the national team coaches of Slovakia and Japan, and “Spiderman” actor Tom Holland.
Of the 38,000 total spectators, a sold out crowd considering that stadium capacities are currently restricted to 50% in Italy due to pandemic regulations, 2500 seats have been allocated to away supporters.
Meanwhile, the two teams have already collected nearly €60 million in revenues from participation in the Champions League group stage and progression to the knockout rounds, and could earn over €10 million more should they go further.
