Inter will have to fight off a number of foreign sides if they are to sign AC Milan’s Franck Kessie on a free transfer this summer, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported today by Tuttosport, Inter are keeping a very close eye on the Ivorian midfielder as they are keen on pulling off a move similar to the one for Hakan Calhanoglu last summer.

The major sticking point though is the €7 million salary as well as bonuses and agents fees that it would take to make him an Inter player.

Juventus are in a similar position to Inter on the player, but other teams such as Barcelona, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United are all keen on bringing the player to their club.

They would also all likely be able to offer higher wages than both Inter and Juventus, especially the Premier League sides.
