Inter will soon be meeting with Samir Handanovic and Ivan Perisic to discuss renewing the contracts of the two players, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, Inter are ready to try and finalise contract extensions with two of the older players in the squad.

Ivan Perisic impressed once again against Liverpool last night in the Champions League and Inter CEO Beppe Marotta is very keen to keep him at the club beyond the end of this season, despite the signing of Robin Gosens from Atalanta.

As for Samir Handanovic, the club are negotiating a new contract that would include a pay decrease for the Slovenian goalkeeper as the imminent arrival of Andre Onana will likely make him the second choice goalkeeper.

Given his age he appears happy to play this role for the team and may still be allowed to remain as captain.
