Italian Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio: “Inter’s Contract Talks With Marcelo Brozovic At A Very Advanced Stage”

Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has revealed that Inter’s contract talks with Marcelo Brozovic are now at a very advanced stage, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking whilst on Sky Sport, via FCInter1908, Gianluca Di Marzio took stock of the contract renewal situation at Inter.

When talking about Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, the Italian journalist said: “The negotiations for Marcelo Brozovic’s contract are at a very advanced stage now.”

The contract discussions between Marcelo Brozovic and Inter have been rumbling on for many months now and fans will be very relieved when an official announcement is eventually made.

It was reported earlier today that the player’s entourage is in Milan right now and was in attendance at San Siro for Inter’s 2-0 defeat to Liverpool in the Champions League Round of 16 on Wednesday night.

Multiple teams across Europe have made proposals to Marcelo Brozovic since January such as Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur, and Newcastle United. The Croatian has been clear that he wishes to stay at Inter.
