Marcelo Brozovic’s entourage are in Milan right now as confirmation of the Croatian’s new contract draws closer, according to a report in the Italian print media today.
As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, the Croatian midfielder had his agent and father in the stands as Inter faced Liverpool last night in the Champions League Round of 16.
His father does not reside in Milan and tends to be in the city when he needs to hold meetings with the club. After very long and drawn out negotiations it seems that Marcelo Brozovic’s contract could finally be signed in the very near future.
He certainly wants to remain at the club for the next portion of his career and the new contract is expected to keep him at Inter until 2026.
Marcelo Brozovic played well against Liverpool on Wednesday night but could not stop his team from falling to a 2-0 defeat at San Siro.
