Former AS Roma and AC Milan striker Nikola Kalinic has said that Inter duo Ivan Perisic and Edin Dzeko are on the list of the best players he has ever played with, according to a report in the Italian print media.

Speaking during an interview with Il Messaggero, the Croatian forward who now plays for Hajduk Split spoke about two of Inter’s most important players.

He played with Edin Dzeko when the pair were teammates at AS Roma in the 2019-20 season. He also played with Ivan Perisic in the Croatian national team. He thinks the two Nerazzurri stars are just as important as Luka Modric, the Real Madrid midfielder who has been at the very top for many years.

“For me, Dzeko is a true friend. I don’t know the reasons for his farewell, but I’m sure that after Roma, at Inter he will also do great. Everywhere he has shown his value, he is on the podium of the strongest with whom I have played, together with Perisic and Modric.”

Edin Dzeko joined Inter at the start of this season after he had lost his way in the capital. He joined on a free transfer and has found a new level at Inter.
