Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla has said that the chances of Ivan Perisic signing a new deal at Inter for next season are already over 50%, according to a report on social media today. 

As was said on his Twitter account, Alfredo Pedulla appears confident that the Croatian will remain at Inter but says fans will need to be patient with the negotiations.

“For Inter fans who ask: for Perisic we were already over 50% chance in December. So, a little more patience is needed.”

Earlier in the season, it seemed a foregone conclusion that Ivan Perisic would be leaving the club at the end of his contract so that he could play in the Premier League or the Bundesliga.

He is yet to receive any offers from teams in those leagues that are playing at a high enough level for him and can offer him an increased wage in comparison to what he is on now at Inter.

His excellent form this season has also led both parties to feel that continuing together is the best idea.
