Simone Inzaghi may decide to give Stefan de Vrij a rest against Sassuolo whilst Robin Gosens partially returns to group training, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported today by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the Dutch defender may be given a chance to recover from the last few very intensive matches that Inter have played.

The run of fixtures including matches against teams like AC Milan, Napoli, and Liverpool means that many players may be given a rest against Sassuolo, with Simone Inzaghi calling on his squad players to step up and still get all three points.

There is good news for the coach in regard to new signing Robin Gosens who arrived from Atalanta with an injury.

He is partially returning to group training this week with his new teammates and has the Genoa game in mind for his return which is next Friday.
