Torino Sporting Director Davide Vagnati has said that he doe not expect Gleison Bremer to join Juventus in the summer, according to a report in the Italian media.
Speaking during an interview with DAZN ahead of Torino’ match away at Juventus on Friday night, via alfredopedulla.com, Davide Vagnati discussed the future of Brazilian defender Gleison Bremer.
Despite having just signed a new contract with the club, he is still expected to leave in the summer for a bigger team. He has been linked with Inter, Juventus, and AC Milan.
“When we enter the field we try to play our own game and win. Making promises isn’t easy, especially with a strong opponent. Today we will give our soul until the last minute to bring the game home. Bremer to Juve? A player who has sweated for the Granata shirt like him, I don’t think he would join Juventus.”
The reason that he signed a new contract is reportedly so that the club can protect his value and ensure that his release clause has to be paid rather than Torino ending up with a smaller fee for what is proving to be their most marketable asset.
The chances of Gleison Bremer joining Inter would increase if Stefan de Vrij was sold for a high fee.
