Inter President Steven Zhang will remain in Milan until after the team’s second leg Champions League clash with Liverpool next month.
This according to Italian news outlet Repubblica.it, who report that the President will stay to support the team until the massive return leg at Anfield, while he will also be at the San Siro for tomorrow’s Serie A clash with Sassuolo.
Zhang has been in Milan for the past few months, where he has taken care of a number of important business matters at the club in addition to attending a number of the team’s matches across several competitions.
The President has been in attendance for a number of clashes in Serie A, while he was also at the San Siro for last month’s Supercoppa Italiana triumph over Juventus as well as Wednesday’s disappointing 2-0 loss to Liverpool.
The President will be hoping that the team is able to overcome the deficit against the Reds in the return leg at Anfield despite the difficult circumstances, and he intends to stay with the team until after that match.
