Inter are tracking Lille striker Jonathan David as a potential long-term option for their attack.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 22-year-old would represent an ambitious option for the Nerazzurri but could be seen as a significant long-term target.
The Nerazzurri’s focus moving forward looks to largely be on building the team with young players who have room to improve, and David looks to be a profile who they are seriously considering.
The Canadian has been one of the standout attackers in Ligue 1 this campaign, and given his age, could continue to improve and represent a smart investment in the future of the attack.
David would not come cheap given his form since joining the French champions, but given his potential to improve from the already formidable performances which he has shown, the Nerazzurri’s interest in trying to sign him is growing.
