Inter are close to completing the extension of Marcelo Brozovic’s contract, but must complete a formality regarding the lawyer representing him before they can make it official.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri will get the family lawyer who has represented the 29-year-old through negotiations registered with the Italian FA before announcing the extension.

Inter are virtually at the finish line with respect to Brozovic’s new deal, but in order for them to make it official, they must have the lawyer who has been representing the midfielder registered with the Italian FA as an officially certified agent.

Once this is done, the lawyer can act as a witness for the signing of the new deal per the regulations of the Italian FA, and then the Nerazzurri will get the deal wrapped up with the player and announce it officially.
