Matteo Darmian and Roberto Gagliardini are set to be included in Inter’s starting eleven to face Sassuolo this evening as Simone Inzaghi makes five changes to the team that faced Liverpool.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that Federico Dimarco will also come into the team in place of the suspended Alessandro Bastoni.
Inzaghi is dealing with two suspensions for this evening’s Serie A clash, namely Bastoni and Marcelo Brozovic, and the likes of Dimarco and Gagliardini look set to be their replacements in midfield and defense respectively.
Meanwhile, Denzel Dumfries looks set to be given a rest on the right, with Darmian his natural replacement, while Alexis Sanchez is predicted to come in for Edin Dzeko in attack.
The Corriere’s complete predicted starting eleven for the Nerazzurri in the match is as follows:
INTER (3-5-2): Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Dimarco; Darmian, Gagliardini, Barella, Calhanoglu, Perisic; Lautaro, Sanchez.
