Inter striker Martin Satriano has enjoyed a blazing start to life on loan with Ligue 1 side Brest, and the team’s coach Michel Der Zakarian is very pleased with what he’s seen from the 20-year-old.

Speaking in a press conference after the French side’s 1-1 draw with Reims yesterday, as reported by FCInterNews, the coach praised the Uruguayan’s technical quality and what he’s added to the team right away.

Satriano joined Brest on loan in search of more regular playing time, having barely featured in the Nerazzurri first team across the first half of the season.

The young striker has gone right into Brest’s first team, and he has made an instant impact by first scoring two goals in his first start, against Troyes, before scoring a crucial equalizer to earn his team a point against Reims.

Der Zakarian feels that the 20-year-old is already a mature and high-quality striker having already made significant strides at Inter despite not playing often.

“Satriano is a young man on loan from Inter, who allows us to be more competitive,” he said. “He is showing his technical ability, movement, and finishing skills, we’re very happy to have him here helping us achieve our goals.”
