Inter wing-back Robin Gosens and midfielder Matias Vecino are close to being ready to make their returns from injury.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the duo are nearing full match fitness in view of potential returns to the squad for Friday’s Serie A clash with Genoa.

Gosens has been dealing with a hamstring issue in his right thigh that had already caused him to miss a number of matches for Atalanta since September, but he’s just about ready to return to full training.

Meanwhile, Vecino has made a full recovery from the knee problem that has kept him out of the past few matches, and is back in full training with the squad.

Only Joaquin Correa is yet to make a recovery, and it should still be a few more days before the 27-year-old is fully ready to make his return to training and then the pitch.
