Inter are currently ahead in the race for the signature of Torino defender Bremer, but they face competition from a number of clubs in Serie A and abroad.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that Bayern Munich, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur are among the clubs now considering a move for the 24-year-old.

Bremer has been the Nerazzurri’s main target to shore up their defense for some time, and they were the first club in serious contact with his entourage, holding meetings in January and February which established the possibility of a move.

However, the likes of Napoli and Juventus are also eyeing up the Brazilian as a possible replacement should they lose Kalidou Koulibaly or Mathijs de Ligt in the summer respectively.

Meanwhile, AC Milan are also tracking the defender as their alternative should they not be able to sign first-choice defensive target Sven Botman.

Recently a number of clubs from outside Italy have started tracking Bremer as well, with Bayern Munich sending a scout to watch him against Juventus and also making their first contacts with his entourage.

In the Premier League, Spurs and Manchester United are both considering him as a possible target to shore up their own defensive ranks as well.

The Nerazzurri are currently the club with the edge to sign the Brazilian, but they will likely have to fend off a number of other interested clubs.
