Inter wing-back Robin Gosens could make his return from injury in time to play in the Nerazzurri’s Serie A clash with Genoa on Friday.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the 27-year-old is close to fully recovering from his muscle injury and that he could join the likes of Alessandro Bastoni and Marcelo Brozovic in returning to the squad.

Bastoni and Brozovic both missed out on Sunday’s Serie A loss to Sassuolo through suspension, but will be back in the team to face the Griffone, while Gosens looks to be nearing an injury return.

There is not yet a guarantee that the German will be back in time to face Genoa, but it is looking increasingly likely.

Meanwhile, Joaquin Correa will not likely be back in time to face Genoa, but could make his return from his injury when the Nerazzurri host Salernitana the following week.
