Suning have turned down an offer worth €900 million in the past weeks to sell Inter in the past few weeks.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Chinese company have reaffirmed their desire to stay on as owners and are still firm on their valuation of €1 billion for the club.
The offer reportedly came in from an American fund or consortium on entrepreneurs, and totalled around €900 million.
Suning have already turned down a sizable offer from UK-based fund BC Partners last year, while they have also reportedly rejected the advances of Saudi sovereign wealth fund the PIF to purchase the club.
The current owners continue to have long-term ambitions for the club, and have a very high valuation that would make it difficult for potential buyers to convince them to sell.
Should an interested party put forward an offer worth €1 billion then the owners could be convinced to sell, but they have rejected yet another offer which falls short of this amount.
