Inter are growing more and more optimistic that they will be able to agree contract extensions with captain Samir Handanovic and wing-back Ivan Perisic.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Nerazzurri increasingly feel that they will be able to secure the duo’s future, after getting the Marcelo Brozovic extension wrapped up.

Perisic and Handanovic both see their current deals expire at the end of June, and their futures have been far from clear at the club.

However, with the renewals of key sporting directors out of the way and the extension of Brozovic whose deal also expires at the end of June, the club are set to move on to the pair’s contracts.

The club will look to accelerate contract talks with both players in the coming weeks, and they feel optimistic that the players want to stay on and that an agreement can be reached.
