Inter may try and use young goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio as part of a deal for Sassuolo forward Gianluca Scamacca or midfielder Davide Frattesi, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by FCInternews, the agent of the goalkeeper who is currently on loan at Monza was at the Inter headquarters on Wednesday to take stock of his client’s future at Inter as well as the interest from Sassuolo.

Monza have a clause where they are obligated to buy the player for €4 million if they are promoted to Serie A this season. They want to sign him for that same price even if they do not go up.

Inter are more inclined to try and use Sassuolo’s interest to their advantage. The Nerazzurri want to sign Gianluca Scamacca and Davide Frattesi from Sassuolo and could try and use Michele Di Gregorio as part of the deal.
