Inter-owned Genoa defender Zinho Vanheusden has been ruled out of the Grifone’s match against Inter on Friday night with an injury, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by FCInternews, the Belgian defender is suffering from a knee which means he will not be playing against his parent club when they travel West to Genoa.

Atalanta-owned striker Roberto Piccoli will also not be involved in the match as he is suffering from a thigh problem. That means Alexander Blessin could start the game at the Marassi with Nadiem Amiri in attack who recently joined from the Bundesliga.

Inter will be welcoming Alessandro Bastoni and Marcelo Brozovic back to the starting eleven after the duo were both suspended for the match against Sassuolo last weekend.

Inter lost that game 2-0 and will be looking to bounce back with a win over Genoa on Friday night at the Marassi.
