The announcement of Marcelo Brozovic’s new Inter contract is expected to come after the Coppa Italia semi-final first leg against AC Milan, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported today by Tuttosport, the deal for Marcelo Brozovic to remain at the club before the end of this season was concluded earlier this week but it has still not been officially announced by the club.

He was suspended for the match against Sassuolo last weekend which Inter lost 2-0 at San Siro and his absence was very notable.

He will be back from suspension for the match against Genoa on Friday night and then Inter will be playing in the Coppa Italian semi-final on Tuesday evening against AC Milan.

An announcement on the Croatian midfielder’s future at the club is expected to be made after that match as long as there are no other legal delays.
