Inter defender Milan Skriniar has been voted by fans as the team’s best performer in the 2-0 defeat against Sassuolo last weekend, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by FCInternews who conducted the poll, the Slovakian defender was the player that impressed the watching fans the most despite the poor nature of the performance from the Nerazzurri.

Milan Skrianiar was given 49.86% of the fan vote which meant that he was the overwhelming winner of the poll. Despite his best efforts Inter could not stop Giacomo Raspadori and Gianluca Scamamacca who both scored in the first half.

The second best player for Inter was Ivan Perisic but his percentage was right down in comparison to Milan Skriniar. The Croatian got 17.28% of the vote.

The third placed player was the other wing back, Denzel Dumfries. He received 9.40% of the vote showing that a huge amount of the team had a bad game.
