Emiliano Leva, the youth coach of Inter-linked Sassuolo duo Davide Frattesi and Gianluca Scamacca would be a good fit for the Nerazzurri.

Speaking to Italian news outlet FCInter1908, the coach explained the pair’s qualities and backed them to make an impact playing at Inter and under coach Simone Inzaghi.

Frattesi and Scamacca have both been in fine form this season since returning to the Neroverdi from loan spells at Monza and Genoa respectively, and their form has attracted the attention of a number of top clubs with Inter their main suitors.

However, it hasn’t just been this season that the two have been on the radar of a number of clubs, and Leva has had no doubts about their qualities even from an early age.

He believes that should they join the Nerazzurri, they would have everything that it takes to become great signings.

Of the pair’s displays in Sassuolo’s 2-0 win over Inter, he said that “They had an excellent match. Gianluca also scored yet another goal, which is becoming a theme.”

Of striker Scamacca he said that “He would be perfect for Inter’s style of play, and for the way that they ask the forwards to get through on goal.”

Leva then went on that “I believe he’s a versatile striker who could do well in any league, Italy or abroad. He could be decisive in other leagues as well.”

And on midfielder Frattesi, he said that “He has everything to become one of the best Italian midfielders. He can play many roles in midfield, and versatility is certainly an element that works in his favour.”

“Top coaches are looking for and want players who know how to do a little bit of everything,” he added.

“In my opinion, the more he progresses in his career, the number of goals that he scores per season,” he said of the midfielder.
