Inter boss Simone Inzaghi is expected to put Alessandro Bastoni and Marcelo Brozovic straight back into his starting eleven for the game against Genoa on Friday night, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the pair who were both suspended for the defeat against Sassuolo last weekend will be playing from the first minute at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris against Alexander Blessin’s side.

Denzel Dumfries and Edin Dzeko are also expected to return to the starting eleven after being initially rested in the 2-0 defeat against the Neroverdi in which Giacomo Raspadori and Gianluca Scamacca scored.

There are three players that Simone Inzaghi is not able to call upon and they are new signing Robin Gosens, Argentine forward Joaquin Correa, and veteran defender Aleksander Kolarov.

The three players are all injured and will have to wait to represent Inter again in the near future.
