Inter striker Edin Dzeko has said that it may be fate that he ended up playing for Inter as a photo of him in an Inter shirt has emerged, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking during an interview with Italian broadcaster DAZN, via FCInter1908, the Bosnian forward was asked about the photo of him in an Inter shirt posing whilst holding a snake.

He playfully suggested that it may be fate that he ended up at Inter and reiterated his commitment to give everything for the Nerazzurri now that he represents the famous shirt.

“I liked it a lot and I posted it on social media. Maybe it’s fate because it could have happened two years ago or six months before I arrived. As I always say, it’s never too late and now that I’m here you have to give everything and you have to try and achieve many beautiful things together.”

Edin Dzeko signed for Inter from AS Roma in the summer transfer window as part of a joint replacement for Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.

The former Manchester City man has done even better than many expected been Inter’s primary source of goals this season. He has also become very popular amongst the fans.
