As they struggle for goals in recent weeks, Inter are hoping to rediscover their spark against Genoa this evening and will turn to strikers Edin Dzeko and Lautaro Martinez.

As highlighted in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport, Simone Inzaghi’s side have only mustered a single goal in their past three games, in a 1-1 draw against Napoli, prior to 2-0 defeats against Liverpool and Sassuolo respectively.

Indeed, Inter have scored just a solitary goal in 292 minutes of football and Inzaghi will hope Bosnia star Dzeko and his Argentine counterpart Martinez can slice through relegation-threatened Genoa, who languish in 19th place.

Meanwhile, fellow striker Felipe Caicedo could make his debut against his parent club following a loan move from the Grifone in January, whilst Alexis Sanchez remains the fourth choice option in attack.

Having missed the defeat against Sassuolo last weekend, Marcelo Brozovic and Alessandro Bastoni are set to return to the starting line-up, with the former slotting into midfield and the latter playing at centre-back.
