Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is expected to have new signing Robin Gosens available for selection in the coming weeks for the first time since he arrived in January.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport, the signing from Atalanta will not be involved in today’s Serie A clash against Genoa but is targeting a return in the Derby della Madonnina against AC Milan in the Coppa Italia on Tuesday.

Germany international Gosens has been out since September with a serious hamstring injury and returned to full training with Inter this week. The Nerazzurri are hoping he can come through the match against Milan and the subsequent Serie A clash against Salernitana next weekend, before being unleashed for the Champions League second leg match against Liverpool.

Elsewhere, fellow new signing Felipe Caicedo is closing in on a return to action as he gets up to speed and fitness following his arrival from Genoa, and Argentina international Joaquin Correa may be in line for a return from injury for the derby.
