Forward Alexis Sanchez was Inter’s least effective player in yesterday’s frustrating 0-0 draw away to Genoa in Serie A according to Italian media.

The Chilean received a score of just 4.5/10 for his efforts in the player ratings for the match in today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, the lowest of any Inter player.

Sanchez took the place of the misfiring Lautaro Martinez in the starting eleven for the match, but instead of improving his team’s performances the 33-year-old was unable to take up positions between the lines where he could impact the match.

The Chilean was a major culprit for the Nerazzurri looking toothless in attack for all their possession, while Martinez was given a somewhat better 5.5/10 grade for his efforts off the bench in the second half.

Meanwhile, the likes of Danilo D’Ambrosio and Stefan de Vrij received the highest scores of any Inter players, 6.5/10, from the Corriere, whilest the likes of Denzel Dumfries, Ivan Perisic, Alessandro Bastoni, and Samir Handanovic all got 6/10 grades.
