Inter are all set to officially announce the extension of Marcelo Brozovic’s contract, and should be ready to do so not long after Tuesday’s Coppa Italia clash with AC Milan.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri are just waiting for one last bureaucratic hurdle involving the 29-year-old’s representative and expect to be ready to announce the new deal by Wednesday or Thursday.

Talks with Brozovic have been wrapped up for a little while now, with the player and club having full agreement on a new deal that will take the Croat on to the end of June 2026 at the club.

However, the last remaining order of business has been for the lawyer who has represented the midfielder through the talks to be officially enrolled as an agent by the Italian FA.

The application process is ongoing for this to happen and should not take more than a few more days, and the Nerazzurri should make the deal official soon after their Coppa Italia semi-final first leg against the Rossoneri.
