Ivan Perisic and Danilo D’Ambrosio were the two Inter players to put in the best performances in yesterday evening’s goalless draw with Genoa in Serie A.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who single out the experienced duo with 6.5/10 grades in their player ratings for the match, the highest among Nerazzurri players.

Inter made it four matches without a win in Serie A and three matches in all competitions without scoring in a frustrating evening at the Marassi, dominating possession but lacking any cutting edge against a well-organized Griffone team.

Out of all the Nerazzurri players on the pitch, the Gazzetta suggest that it was the likes of Perisic and D’Ambrosio who looked the likeliest to force the issue and get the team their elusive goal.

The likes of Samir Handanovic, Stefan de Vrij, Federico Dimarco, Stefan de Vrij, and Hakan Calhanoglu all received 6/10 grades for their displays and everywhere else the scores were even lower for a disappointing team display overall.
